Audrey Baird is a very funny lady who sees the weather and dragons and writing and many parts of our world with a fresh view. Celebrating her birthday on April 17th, Audrey is the author of Cold Snap and Storm Coming!, two books of poetry about the weather. She has had stories and poems published in several children’s magazines.

Audrey Baird is also well-known to the children’s book writing and illustrating community as the editor and publisher of Once Upon a Time magazine, an “over-the-backyard-fence” format that offers wisdom, advice, and support to those who are involved in children’s publishing. Audrey and her husband, Gordon, live in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
