I’m from Minneapolis, where I spent most of my life and where I learned to love books. I joined the Dr. Seuss Book Club in second grade and can still remember the joy I felt when each book arrived in the mail. When I was six, my friend Earl gave me my first typewriter. It was the old-fashioned kind, in a soft green color, and it meant I was a real writer. I graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, with a degree in English literature, did a lot of business writing for corporations for many years, and was an astrology editor for a time. Now I live on the beautiful White River in the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas, where I write, garden, and am finally learning to really cook. |

Zodiac: The Lost Twins Seconds before two men in black coats try to snatch CK and Butch off the stage at the science fair, the girl genius and the most popular boy at Loon Lake Middle School simply vanish. In a quirky world far across the Milky Way, they find out who they truly are and battle an evil countess for control of all communication in the universe. But the only thing CK really wants to save from the countess is the family she has never known the rebellious and oddly identical twin brother she is shocked to meet. Hurl through space with CK and Butch to mystical Zodiac, where things are not always what they seem, where power comes from within, and where you must love even the most unlovable in order to triumph. |
