Kerry Madden is the author of novels for readers of all ages, including her young adult novel OFFSIDES, and a nonfiction book, WRITING SMARTS. She does writing workshops for students and teachers across the country, specializing in setting and character by helping children discover their voice as storytellers. She is a frequent instructor with the UCLA Writers Program, Vromans Ed, and has taught for PEN in the Classroom and at the Sewanee Young Writers Conference.
